Unlike the standard Galaxy A12, which uses the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, the A12 nacho is equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 850 octa-core processor. The Exynos 850 is built on a 14nm process and operates at a clock speed of 2.0 GHz.This chipset is paired with the Mali-G52 GPU, providing the device’s graphical processing capabilities.
The device features a 6.5-inch PLS IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen includes a dewdrop notch that houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera setup consists of four sensors: a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An LED flash is also present on the back panel.
Memory configurations include options of 3GB or 4GB of RAM, combined with internal storage capacities ranging from 32GB to 128GB. Storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. The device supports dual SIM functionality with 4G LTE connectivity on both SIM cards.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The Galaxy A12 Nacho is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 with Samsung’s One UI 3.1 interface pre-installed. The phone includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.
