Teh Samsung Galaxy A31 succeeds the Galaxy A30 released in 2019. It is indeed designed with a focus on battery capacity. The device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen includes a U-shaped notch at the top centre, which houses the front-facing camera.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 (MT6768) chipset, with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.0 GHz and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is available with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
On the rear, the Galaxy A31 has a quad-camera setup. This includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a single 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, used for selfies and video calls.
The device supports either single or dual nano-SIM configurations, both compatible with 4G LTE networks. Biometric security features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. The Galaxy A31 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. It runs on Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 interface.
Available color variants include Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White. Additional sensors on the device include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass.
