The Samsung galaxy A90 5G is the first model in Samsung’s A-series to support 5G connectivity. This device targets users seeking 5G capabilities at a lower price point compared to flagship models. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a U-shaped notch housing the front camera. The screen includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, an octa-core chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.84 ghz. graphics are handled by the Adreno 640 GPU. The Galaxy A90 5G comes with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 500 GB via a microSD card.
Camera hardware consists of a triple rear setup: a 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and phase detection autofocus (PDAF),an 8 MP ultra-wide lens,and a 5 MP depth sensor. The rear cameras are supported by a single LED flash. For selfies, the device includes a 32 MP front-facing camera.
Powering the device is a 4500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A90 5G runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s One UI skin pre-installed. Additional features include standard sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
