The Samsung Galaxy M02s succeeds the Galaxy M01s, which was released in July 2020. Its design and specifications closely resemble those of the Galaxy A02s, with the primary differences being increased RAM and internal storage capacity. The device features a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a dewdrop notch housing the front camera.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz, paired with an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the rear, the Galaxy M02s has a triple-camera setup. This includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An LED flash is also present. the front camera is a single 5-megapixel sensor designed for selfies and video calls.
The device does not include a physical fingerprint scanner but supports facial recognition and standard Android security options. It supports either single or dual SIM configurations, with 4G VoLTE available on both SIM slots. The battery capacity is 5000mAh, and it supports 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy M02s runs on Android 10 out of the box. Additional features include standard sensors such as an accelerometer and proximity sensor. The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi,Bluetooth 4.2,GPS,and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
