The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is the top-tier model in the Tab S9 series, featuring a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels. It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with the Adreno 740 GPU. The device comes with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and offers internal storage options up to 1TB. The tablet runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1.
Compared to the Galaxy Tab S9+, the Tab S9 ultra has several distinct features. Its 14.6-inch screen is larger than the S9+’s 12.4-inch display. The Ultra model includes a 16GB RAM variant, which is not available on the S9+. Storage capacity also extends up to 1TB on the Ultra, while the S9+ maxes out at 512GB. The front-facing camera setup on the Ultra consists of dual 12-megapixel sensors housed within a notch, supporting wide and ultra-wide video calls. In contrast, the S9+ has a single front camera.The battery capacity of the Tab S9 Ultra is 11,200mAh, which is larger than the 8,200mAh battery found in the S9+.
Additional specifications include a dual rear camera system with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The tablet supports 45W fast charging via USB-C. It also features stereo speakers tuned by AKG and supports Dolby atmos. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, gyro, compass, and ambient light sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and optional 5G on certain models.
