The Sharp Aquos Zero6, also referred to as Zeroyon, succeeds the Zero5 model from the previous year. It retains the same display specifications as its predecessor but incorporates an upgraded processor. The device features a 6.4-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which can be increased to 240Hz, similar to the Aquos R6 5G. A U-shaped notch is positioned at the top of the display.
The Aquos Zero6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 619 GPU.The phone includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 1TB.
On the rear, the device has a triple-camera setup. This consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera capable of 2x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is a single 12.6-megapixel sensor.
Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4010mAh battery. The phone supports a single Nano-SIM with 4G and 5G NSA/SA network compatibility. It carries IPX5, IP6X, and IP8X ratings for water and dust resistance, consistent with many Japanese smartphones. The device runs on Android 11 out of the box.
