Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G

The Tecno Camon 30 pro 5G, also identified as the CL8, is part of the Camon 30 series adn differs from the CL6, CL7, and CL9 models. It is indeed positioned below the CL9, known as the Camon 30 pro Premier, and provides a distinct configuration. Unlike the Camon 20 Pro, which was available in both 4G and 5G versions, the Camon 30 Pro 5G is exclusively a 5G device, marking a meaningful hardware update.

This model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor, featuring an octa-core CPU with cores clocked up to 3.1 GHz and a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU for graphics processing. It is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and offers storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB, expandable via microSD card.

The Camon 30 Pro 5G includes a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports a 1440 Hz PWM dimming frequency and has a special coating to improve touch sensitivity under wet conditions. The device runs on Android 14 with Tecno’s HiOS custom interface.

Camera hardware consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.88 aperture, using the Sony IMX890 sensor. it also has a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a 50-megapixel sensor designed for selfies.
