Tecno POVA 3

Tecno’s POVA 3 succeeds the POVA 2 released the previous year.It features a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The device includes a Mali-G52 GPU and supports the Panther Game Engine for enhanced gaming performance. The display is a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1080p resolution and a dot-notch housing the front camera.

The POVA 3 is available in two memory configurations: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Both variants support expandable storage via a microSD card slot. The rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.6 aperture,accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an additional AI lens. The rear camera array is complemented by a quad-LED flash. The front-facing camera uses an 8-megapixel sensor.

Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition (FaceID). The device is powered by a 7000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It runs on Android 12 with Tecno’s HiOS 12.0 skin pre-installed. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. The phone supports dual SIM functionality and standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
