the Ulefone Armor Mini 2 is a rugged feature phone designed with durability in mind, resembling the Nokia 800 Tough released in 2019. It meets MIL-STD-810G standards and carries IP68/IP69K ratings, ensuring resistance to water and dust. The device can withstand drops from up to 1.2 meters.
Unlike the Nokia 800 Tough, the Armor Mini 2 uses a MediaTek MT6261D processor, which limits its connectivity options. It does not support 3G or 4G networks and lacks the KaiOS operating system found on the Nokia device. Bluetooth connectivity is limited to version 2.4. The phone’s display measures 2.4 inches diagonally.
The camera setup on the Armor Mini 2 consists of a 0.3-megapixel rear sensor paired with a single LED flash. Additionally, the phone features extra LED lights positioned at the top to assist with visibility in low-light conditions.
The device includes 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. It runs a proprietary operating system rather than a smartphone OS. One notable feature is the inclusion of a wireless FM radio with a built-in antenna, which is not present on the Nokia 800 Tough.
The phone’s rugged design and basic specifications position it as a durable, entry-level device with limited multimedia and connectivity capabilities. The full technical specifications of the Ulefone Armor Mini 2 are detailed in the table below.
