The UMIDIGI A9 is a compact variant of the A9 Pro, featuring a different processor and some distinct hardware specifications. It is indeed equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display, offering a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a dewdrop notch design. The screen size is larger than that of the A9 Pro, despite the A9 being positioned as the smaller model.
This device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor, which operates at a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone includes 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card.

The UMIDIGI A9 supports dual SIM functionality with 4G LTE connectivity. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The device is powered by a 5150 mAh battery and supports 10W charging through a USB Type-C port, which also supports OTG functionality. The phone runs on Android 11 out of the box.
