UMIDIGI F3 succeeds the UMIDIGI F2, which was released in 2019. The device features a larger display and runs the latest operating system, but retains the same MediaTek Helio P70 processor found in its predecessor. The front panel includes a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and a dewdrop notch at the top center.
Under the hood,the UMIDIGI F3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset,with CPU cores clocked up to 2.1 GHz. Graphics processing is handled by the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Storage capacity can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors: a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. A single 16-megapixel front-facing camera is housed within the notch for selfies and video calls. The rear cameras are supported by an LED flash.
Connectivity options include dual Nano-SIM slots with 4G LTE support on both SIMs. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Power is supplied by a 5150 mAh battery, which charges through a USB Type-C port. the UMIDIGI F3 runs on android 11 out of the box and includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer,proximity sensor,and ambient light sensor.
