The Vivo Y01A is an entry-level smartphone featuring a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen includes a dewdrop notch housing the front camera. The device is priced around $112.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y01A is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, wich has an octa-core CPU clocked at up too 2.3 GHz. Graphics are handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
For photography, the rear camera consists of a single 8-megapixel sensor paired with an LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel sensor designed for selfies and video calls. This camera setup is identical to that of the standard Vivo Y01 model.
The Vivo Y01A does not include a fingerprint sensor but supports facial recognition for device unlocking. It has a triple-slot tray that accommodates two SIM cards and one microSD card simultaneously. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
The operating system is Google Android 11 (Go edition) with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 11.1 layered on top.
