The vivo Y20G is part of Vivo’s Y-series lineup released in India. It shares the same chassis as the standard Vivo Y20 but differs in key hardware components. The device features a 6.51-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch housing the front camera.
under the hood, the Y20G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. This SoC is built on a 12nm process and includes an octa-core CPU with two cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.The phone is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, wich can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
The camera setup on the rear consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor located within the notch. The device runs on Android 11 with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 11 skin layered on top.
Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. connectivity options include dual 4G-enabled Nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
