Xiaomi 12 succeeds the Mi 11, which was released in December 2020. The device features a 6.28-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen includes a small notch for the front camera and supports Dolby Vision. Peak brightness is rated at 1100 nits, a decrease from the Mi 11’s 1500 nits. The panel refreshes at 120Hz and supports HDR10+. It is indeed protected by Corning Gorilla Glass victus.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chipset. This system-on-chip includes an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.0 GHz and an Adreno 730 GPU. Memory configurations include 8GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, as well as a 12GB RAM option with 256GB storage. Storage is non-expandable.
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors. The primary camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture,optical image stabilization (OIS),and a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 123-degree field of view and a 5-megapixel telemacro lens with a 50mm focal length. The front-facing camera is a 32-megapixel sensor housed within the notch.
Xiaomi 12 supports dual Nano-SIM cards with 4G and 5G SA/NSA connectivity.It includes an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security. The device is available in green, blue, black, and pink color options. It is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
