The Xiaomi 12X is a variant within the Xiaomi 12 series, positioned with a lower price point. Unlike other models in the series, it lacks wireless charging and uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor instead of the snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The device features a 6.28-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.The screen includes a small notch for the front camera and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby vision and HDR10+ standards,with a peak brightness of 1100 nits.
The Xiaomi 12X is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset, clocked up to 3.2 GHz. Graphics processing is handled by the Adreno 650 GPU. Memory configurations include 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The device does not support expandable storage via microSD cards.
The rear camera setup consists of three sensors. The primary camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture,optical image stabilization (OIS) with 4-axis correction,and a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. Accompanying this are a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel telemacro lens with a 50mm focal length. The front-facing camera is a single 32-megapixel sensor.
The Xiaomi 12X is available in black, blue, and pink color options. It includes an optical fingerprint sensor embedded under the display. The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards with 4G and 5G connectivity,including both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. Power is supplied by a 4500mAh battery,which supports 67W fast charging. The phone runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box.
