Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Technical Overview
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is a gaming smartphone released in March 2020. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR10+ and has a peak brightness of 500 nits. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with the Adreno 650 GPU.It comes with two RAM options: 8 GB and 12 GB, and storage variants of 128 GB or 256 GB using UFS 3.0 technology.
The phone runs on Android 10 with Xiaomi’s JoyUI 11 on top. It includes a 4720 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging via USB Type-C. The Black Shark 3 supports 5G connectivity and dual SIM functionality. For biometric security, it uses an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
On the camera front, the Black Shark 3 has a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 64 MP Sony IMX686 with an f/1.8 aperture.It is accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 5 MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 20 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. Video recording supports up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
The device includes stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and ambient light sensor. The Black shark 3 also features liquid cooling technology to manage heat during extended gaming sessions.
