Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer
The xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer,also known as the Xiaomi mi 9 Transparent Edition,is the premium variant of the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer. It was released alongside the Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE models. The key distinguishing feature of the Mi 9 Explorer is its transparent rear panel, which reveals some internal components, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
In terms of hardware, the Mi 9 Explorer is equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Storage is fixed at 256GB, which is higher than the maximum 128GB available on the standard Mi 9. Both models run on MIUI based on Android 9 Pie at launch.
The device features a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports HDR10 and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Mi 9 Explorer includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock.
Camera specifications are consistent with the standard Mi 9. the rear camera setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture,a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens,and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front camera is a 20MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The device is powered by a 3300mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging and 20W wireless charging. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass, and barometer.
