Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro

The Xiaomi Mi 9 pro, released in September 2019, is part of Xiaomi’s Mi 9 series. It retains the design and build quality of the original Mi 9 while incorporating upgraded internal components. The device features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and includes a notch housing the front camera.

Under the hood, the Mi 9 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor built on a 7nm process. It uses the Adreno 640 GPU for graphics processing. The phone supports up to 12GB of RAM and offers internal storage options up to 512GB. It runs on Android 10 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 interface pre-installed.

The rear camera setup consists of three sensors. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with Laser Autofocus, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Contrast Detection Autofocus (CAF), and a closed-loop Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for enhanced focusing speed. The secondary camera is a 12-megapixel Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto lens providing 2x optical zoom. The third sensor is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 with a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is a 20-megapixel sensor with AI capabilities.The device includes an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, which operates similarly to a 5μm macro camera, offering higher precision than traditional capacitive sensors. The rear panel uses nano-level laser engraving holographic technology combined with dual-layer nano coating, producing color effects under light. It also has Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the back.
