The Poco C55 is an entry-level smartphone from xiaomi’s POCO brand, sharing design elements and specifications with the Redmi 12C. It features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen includes a waterdrop notch that houses a 5-megapixel front camera.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a mediatek Helio G85 processor, an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The Poco C55 is available in three memory configurations: 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage. Storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera module includes a single LED flash. The front-facing camera supports basic selfie and video calling functions. The device runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 for POCO as the user interface.
The Poco C55 has an IP52 rating, providing limited protection against dust and water splashes. It includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the camera module for biometric security. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and supports 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, and standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
