the Redmi 10 succeeds Xiaomi’s Redmi 9 from the previous year, featuring several notable upgrades. The device’s design has been revised, now including a centrally placed notch on the display. The primary camera sensor has been upgraded to a 50-megapixel unit, replacing the 13-megapixel sensor found on the Redmi 9. Additionally,the processor has been updated from the Helio G80 to the MediaTek Helio G88.
The redmi 10 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor, running at a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. It uses the Mali-G52 GPU for graphics processing. the device is available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64GB or 128GB. Storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.
The camera system includes a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.8 aperture as the main shooter. Supporting this are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The fingerprint sensor has been relocated from the rear panel to the side of the phone. The device supports dual Nano-SIM cards alongside a dedicated microSD card slot.
Power is supplied by a 5000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. The Redmi 10 runs on android 11 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12.5 interface pre-installed. The phone includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer,proximity sensor,and compass.
