Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G
The Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G is a 5G-capable smartphone announced alongside the Redmi K30 4G.It succeeds the Xiaomi K20, which was released earlier in the year. The device features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display wiht a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen includes a pill-shaped notch that houses dual front cameras.The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, an octa-core chipset built on a 7nm process, with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 620 GPU. The Redmi K30 5G is available with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB. Storage can be expanded by up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
The camera setup consists of six sensors in total. On the rear, there is a 64 MP primary wide-angle camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.9 aperture. This is paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 5 MP macro sensor, which replaces the 2 MP macro sensor found in the 4G variant. The front-facing cameras include a 20 MP main sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor, both located within the pill-shaped notch. The front cameras support HDR, face beautification, and video recording at up to 1080p resolution.
For security, the Redmi K30 5G includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3D AI Face Unlock. It supports dual hybrid Nano-SIM cards with 4G VoLTE on both slots. The device is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 pre-installed.
