The Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G is a variant of the Redmi K30 5G, designed with some modifications to reduce cost. The primary difference lies in the main rear camera, which is a 48-megapixel sensor compared to the 64-megapixel sensor found on the original K30.Additionally, the 5-megapixel macro lens on the K30 is replaced by a 2-megapixel macro lens on the K30i.The device retains the 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and features a pill-shaped notch housing the front cameras.
Under the hood, the Redmi K30i 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, paired with the adreno 620 GPU. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is not expandable via microSD card.
The rear camera setup includes a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone has a dual front camera system consisting of a 20 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security. It supports hybrid dual Nano-SIM cards. Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The phone runs on Android 10 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 interface.
