Xiaomi Redmi Note 9
The Redmi Note 9 succeeds the Redmi Note 8, which was released in 2019. this model replaces the Snapdragon 665 processor found in its predecessor with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The device features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen includes a left-aligned punch-hole for the front camera.
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, paired with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64GB or 128GB. Storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the rear, the redmi Note 9 has a quad-camera setup. This includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a single 13-megapixel sensor housed in the punch-hole cutout.
the device supports dual 4G VoLTE SIM cards and is equipped with a 5020mAh battery. It supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. The Redmi Note 9 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box. Available color options include Forest Green, Midnight Gray, Polar White, and Onyx Black.
Additional specifications such as sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
