The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro succeeds the Redmi Note 8 Pro, replacing the previous MediaTek processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.The device features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen includes a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout for the front camera.
The rear camera system consists of four sensors: a 48-megapixel primary wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor located within the display notch.
under the hood, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, which integrates an octa-core CPU with cores clocked up to 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 618 GPU. The device is available with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable via microSD card.
The phone is equipped with a 5020mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
